Go to Bursons and by semi sealed lights. You can then run normal (H4) light globes. I bought a pair of them a while back for $28.

likewise burson/repco/autobarn etc will stock sealed beam lights.

Although they're generally not as bright as semi sealed ones, they don't fill up with water when your car goes for a swim.

Only 55/70 but good enough, cost me $20 each from R & E Auto in Croydon

Bosch Sealed beams at autobarn are 20 bucks each. My mate has a 97 sierra and he got a patrol non sealed beam. 15 bucks at the wrecker with a globe.

Sure are. Not skin melting like expensive stuff can be, but very much whiter, brighter and better spread/pattern.

Some were 55/60 at a few bux more, go figure?

And of course there is dear stuff too...but for me its not just the cost to buy, but possible track damage needing replacement costs.

I just checked. New h4 quartz are 55/70.

My old normal sealed beams were Left 50/60 Koito and Right 50/75 Stanley ...never knew there was choices.

Power usage is the same with me new sealed h4's but the light output is better.

You can get massively bright h4's but then you can't use them in convoy.

I also got some $25 Kmart driving lights, as high beam still needed a help.
