95 Pajero Import...Whats the Diff?

Post by amshaw »

Hi All,
We have a 2000 pajero io....great little beast but i think we need something a bit bigger.

Found a 95 Pajero 2.8 TDi near by for a good price with low km's....anyway I noticed it has one of those stupid mirrrors on the left front 1/4....I guess its an import ?? I also found out that the owners are Kiwi's.

If so whats the differance betwen an Import and a Aussie landed Pajero?

Whats the go in NZ with all there jap imports ?
Andrew

Towards the end of the 90s there was an "Escape" model. Essentially a slightly dressed up GLX with flares (similar to GLS but no side steps and door mouldings and "mirrors on the fenders. Never seen a deisel one though.

Loads of imports over here. Diesel's, Petrol's, GDI's, longs, shorts.

There are a few threads on here about them, climate control. adjustable suspension etc. Spec levels differ from NZ or Oz new ones.
