EXACTLY the same pumpkin, ratio's, and side gear splines (well after 1969) as both diffs from the 40 series, 60 series and early 75 series and rear of the later 70 series, 80's and 100

While we are on the topic.
Does the rear diff pumkin of a 4runner fit a 60 series? If not are the crown wheel and pinion the same?

Sorry to rape your thread :)

nope, ring gear is 8 inch from the 4runner, 9 and 1/2 in the 60.

60 diff is much bigger, so no dice on swapping
