City driving you should get around 12 to 14 litres/100km.

Highway, depending on speed and terrain (hilly or flat), between 9.5l/100km to 11.5l/100km.

Offroad, again depends on terrain and type of driving, but anywhere from 10l/100km to 18l/100km.

Are we talking carby engine or EFI too?

For suburban driving I get 10.5l / 100km from an EFI Feroza. 12-14 seems a bit excessive unless you're running huge tyres? :?

Well I've got a 95 carby feroza and it makes about 13l / 100 km.

Do you think it's allright?

Could be alright? Hard to say really as there aren't many owners on here with the carby version. If you do a lot of city driving with stop/ start type stuff then its possible.

has anyway tried to overhaul his carb. i heard in some brand they
adjust the jets and plunger to save on gasoline but have to trade
with some power loss to the engine?

anyone can share his experience please.

Yes, they should be adjustable with the mixtures able to be changed.

It could also be worth checking the ignition timing is adjusted properly too- you'll get more power with less throttle opening (and use less fuel.)
