On the topic of clutch's .. what's the best clutch about ??

I gotta replace mine as I was sick of my puck clutch, brutally strong but WAY to grabby .. So whats the best allrounder ?? standard PBR, heavy duty, centreforce ??

damn - :)

New I should have taken pics of my old clutch. I managed to get cracks around the whole face and the mechanic said it was this close to exploding. The springs also had about 5mm of movement in their carriers.

Not the best way for a 5000km clutch.

I think what killed it was when the gearbox locked up and siezed it through the clutch.

cheers

I agree - i tried to track one down a year ago and got told by GRP that they are no longer being made... Although interestingly i still read about them in Petersons and Fourwheeler - perhaps we just don't get them in Australia anymore?
