Who runs trxus MT's

Post by Turoa »

I am seriously considering 35x12.5x15 trxus mt's as my next tyre. How good are they in mud, and as an all round tyre?

I did a search but it doesnt seem as if many people are running them.

And how do 35x10.5x15 boggers peform?

Cheers

he is refering to the interco trxus guys

i bought a set of yankee dave from outerlimits a while ago, although they were second hand, i didnt believe they worked that well in the mud, but good on the rocks.

the sidewall looks real chunky but didnt stop me from putting a fist size hole in the sidewall over a tree stump/root.

dave should be able to help you more and lockee too.

they are similiar to just a mud terrain i am guessing, maybe slightly better, as i have never had a mud terrain before these, only ATs and Simex, and they would be in the middle of the 2.

Yes, for a 35"

Im just tossing up between the 35" boggers and the 35" trxus. The boogers are $20nz more expensive than the trxus, they are skinnier, rougher on-road, suck at sidelings and dont wear well. Im leaning more towards the trxus now.

from what I remember of steves, the trxus are nothing like a bogger.. more like a MT...

In muddy conditions, a bogger would eat and spit out a Trxus...

Where did you get the price?
I only asking as I didn't think anyone was importing interco tires into NZ anymore.
