body lift
what damage will a body lift do to a 91 4runner iv been told that it brackes things is it true?
IF YOU OVER TAKE ME I WILL FOLLOW YOU HOME AND S*#T IN YOUR SLIPPERS
Ummmm no.
I just lifted my 92 Surf (same body as 4Runner) and didn't break anything.
You just need to do it right. But if you stuff things - those parts are still okay.
It is just your steering rod which should be loostened.
The shifter which needs to be undone\removed and may need a change or two (because the transmission is 2 inches further away) when putting back on
You need a couple of brackets for your radiator mounts (to lower the radiator to original position). Same for your bumper, budge bar, bull bar ... whatever.
That is all I can think of right now.

Dude all those things happened to me (except window sills)after putting a body lift in.tuff4runner wrote:it brakes door sills and windo sills and it pops body panals
But I am sure it was'nt the body lift more like rocks, trees, embankments, the tracks I started driving because I could fit a set of 35s M/T and really enjoy the sport.
I could have saved all these thing with a bit of pipe and a welder. You will twist your chassis over time and with that your body will follow but it dont matter you had fun doing it.
Listen to Clown boy. The extra things that jump to my mind on my rig are handbrake cable, body to engine earth, I had to extend the cable between starter motor and battery.
Looking for more do a search under 4runner?
If you dont have panel damage you ain't trying hard enough
