Vacuum hose snorkels and air intakes

Post by Nev »

Just curious as to where people buy the long and wide (2.5") pieces of vacuum hose stuff for air intakes and snorkels such as otis the suzi used to have. That rocky in latest issue of 4wd monthly had one too. Any ideas?

Aero manufacturing in Tullamarine Melbourne are awesome.

They are your one stop shop for anything Exhaust or intake components related (custom snorkels etc). I am going to make a custom 4" stainless snorkel, using their stainless tube, and rubber bends.

Have a look at
http://www.aero.net.au/

and download their catalogue. Well worth a browse. Their website is not the fastest however.

ended up going to tony powels at geebung this morning and got some rubber and thermoplastic hosing which is rated to 120 degrees c and does the job perfectly...decided against full flexi pipe snorkel and just rerouted the intake to a less dust and water prone area
