30/9.5 WITH NO LIFT?
30/9.5 WITH NO LIFT?
Got a new 97' Zook last week, (stock) getting some BF MUDS 30/9.5 fitted on new 15x7's, however I am a little concerned the fronts will hit the front bar on full lock or other parts of the car for that matter, will the 30/9.5 work without any lift kit?
Any feedback appreciated, cheers Haydn.

You're right, it will hit. Bumper supports can be trimmed as well as the wheel arch at the back. Other seams in the wheel arch can be hammered flat, or ground & welded. You may still need a bump stop extension to stop rubbing.haydn wrote:Got a new 97' Zook last week, (stock) getting some BF MUDS 30/9.5 fitted on new 15x7's, however I am a little concerned the fronts will hit the front bar on full lock or other parts of the car for that matter, will the 30/9.5 work without any lift kit?

This is on a coily right? There may be other considerations for coilys, i'm not very familiar with them.

Ive got a 3in Body lift on my coily with 30's. They have only rubbed once on full flex, and i just hammered the seams and no longer have any problems.
After several months of moderate 4wding, my springs sagged, and the tyres only just clear the arches on full flex atm, so that may be an issue for you later down the track.
Take some pics and post up once you have them fitted, i would like to see what they look like without a lift.
Cheers

Yep, you might need to flaten the seams, cut bach ber supports and maybe a little triming on the inside of the guard.basketcase wrote:so 30's on a 84 lwb will be cool at stock height??
I ran 31x10.5's on my 83 ute, with no spring or body lift, just some slightly extended shackles.
Screwed some wide track flares on to cover the tyres and triming.
