Ok the main seat replacement for Zuks seems to be GTI buckets, but they are getting very hard to find in good condition...
So what kind of after market seats have people fitted and what are they like?
I am looking for new so any other make of car is out at the moment. So anyone that can let us know what they have, what they ride like and where they got them, what they paid etc, it would be appreciated.
I pretty much figured in custom mounts so that shouldn't be a hassle. Has anyone had issues with after market seats going soft after a short amount of time at all? Gutless do you know how the autotechnica seats are holding up?
The nearest wrecker lets his seats gather rain and mildew yet acts as if they are made of gold and carved by virgins on a tropical island when it comes to price
There are some Monza/Autotechnica knock offs on Ebay. Anyone chanced their wallet on these?
If you can get a set of 300ZX seats they are really nice still fairly thin for fitting into a Sierra and electric adjustable in every direction possible, and they hold you in well.

TRUE DAT!!!!!
I used to own a pair of zed seats. They were in my 300zx Really nice seats!!!
I sold a set of seats to a guy today that is putting them into a Sierra. They are a knock off of the Bride racing seats as in the picture. We sell these and other styles for $440 a pair brand new. They are reclinable, come with their own runners and are ADR approved.

Holy side bolsters Batman!!!
Are the ones you sell got the side bolsters that high?
whatever you do don't go for RCI fixed back buckets.
I require back surgery after 6months of 4wdriving with those in the zook.
Can anyone suggest of some good LOW SLUNG adr seats that would fit in a zook. I can handle custom mounts, as i can modify the brackets for the buckets in there atm. I like the thought of ZX seats, but i think im going to have trouble finding a pair for the right price in WA.
Im 6'3" and don't like my head too close to the roof when heading down gnarly tracks heheheh.
Cheers

just a tip for ppl who have fat thighs. u may get sore thighs if u go for those seats with high sides on the bottom part.
i put in a pair of new seats with highish sides on my thighs. really locks u in the seat. fortunately i dont have fat thighs. very comfy i dont get a sore ass or back on long journeys.
infact they look exactly the same as the black seat in the far right on the below link.

Those seats are a recaro copy that we stock.
Just an update. I have been informed that our new stock will be all imitation leather. We had some samples sent to us a while back and i tell you they were a very sexy looking seat. Ill be looking at a set of these for my Zook.
just a note for people in nsw regs on seats , you can change the seats in a vehicle but they need engineering unless it is fitted on pre-engineered adaptors or seat frames that carry vsb no.5 tags .
