removal of paint....?

hey guys i want to sand blast my supercharger befor i put it on.... its all white and looks like poo.... i cant seem to get into all niks and crannys!!! and any ideas otherwise

Used to use paint stripper and steel wool on pushbike frames dont know how this will go on gaskets and rubber bits

sit it in a tub of paint striper leave it a couple of hours to over night and then hit it with a high pressure water paint will fall away easy


was the only way to clean down the old powder coating hooks

i wouldn,t do this with a super charger as it will eat away at all the seals,etc. sand blasting is probly the easiest way, but youll need to seal up any openings to keep the abrasive out.

if your rebuilding it wouldn't be a prob

i sandblased mine with a 25 buck blaster and it turned out nice. just make sure you cober the holes properly, i used gaffertape. use anything else, and its too hard to get into the nooks and crannies.
