Hi, I'm considering adding a diff lock in the front diff of my Challenger. Since the LSD in the back is praised by everyone and I'm probably more likely to lose traction of a front wheel lifted due to the IFS, I guess it makes more sense to fit it at the front. Anyway, the only options I could find for it are the ARB air locker and the Lokka automatic locker. The lokkas seem to be much cheaper and by reading their sale speech on their website, they're the best. I don't think that's this simple so I ask you the guys the question: What should I do, pay more for an ARB or not getting ripped off and get a lokka? I don't want to fork money just for a brand, but at the same time I don't want to buy a locker that will give me problems in the long run.

Make sure you buy a heap of spare pins and springs 
Remember that with an ARB (and a Detroit) you are getting a much stronger replacement diff centre the extra cost is here.
Compare apples with apples.
The Lokka only replaces the side gears with a set of locking teeth and as such is not a strength upgrade.

Does that mean the Lokka unit is often breaking down and need fixing? How reliable would it be. I read good stuff about the Detroit, but unfortunately they don't have anything for the Challenger.

It's very reliable. In my circle we would have at least 10 (?) lokkas installed and not a worry.
