Are the starter motors for 1.0 the same as 1.3 litres? Mines farked.......

how much are they worth from a wrecker roughly? New ones are about $220...im not paying that much

well ya betta get it sorted by sattdy ..............or you could take the hole mota out and replace it with the mavs starta ;)

nope, nothing at all is interchangeable, I tried...I took mine out, gave it to auto elec, cost me 110 bucks to have it rebuilt, then I put it in.. been good fer quite some time, now, christover

Dan i reckon the mavs starter would still be bigger than my engine...lol

Cost $87 for a rebuild...took it in this morning to merewether auto electrics and they called me 3hours later to say they had finished it....good service considering i just rocked up there...

They probly got it done quick cause they just practiced on mine a couple of weeks ago, do you live around merewether? I wouldn't mind seeing what kind of work I've got instore for myself in doing mine up.

if its worth doing do it intensly , better still do it with MADPASSION

nothin.....turn the key and nothing was happenin...the solenoid wasnt even clicking
