as it says 10 months i have own this sierra i'm on my 4 forth set of rear brake shoes this4x4 is my weekender 400 to 600 ks on a set my is the disc brake conversion is it easy just a bolt on cheers ron

Something is wrong here . If your driving heaps of mud you should be removing the drums after every mud trip and washing it out. If your not driving mud then you gotta look at how they are being fitted.

There is bolt on disc conversions available.
Snake Racing do one, and a few places in usa do, too.
Not cheap, though, you may have to sell a kidney or something.
But saying that, my rear disc conversion has paid for itself in not changing shoes and cylinders, already. Pads are only $20 and caliper kis are about the same. But you hardly need either very much.
Mine (nissan pintara rear disc set up) was just over $100 in parts from a wrecker, but the labour to build the caliper mounts, welding etc was done by a good mate. This is the dear part of conversions.
