hey all My name is Luke been reading the threads on this great forum 4 a while now, this is my first shot at it though be gentle
i have an 86 rocky want a snorkel gq patrol i think but is it the 2.8 turbo model i need or the normal motor model

Hi, welcome Luke.

I recall reading somewhere that a company actually makes an off the shelf snorkel to fit an Aussie Rocky. I can't remember what brand it was though. :?

Hopefully someone else can shed more light on the subject?

The air cleaner on both turbo and non turbo 2.8 diesel Rockys is the same. So if you can find a snorkle off the shelf to fit, it will fit both. Otherwise, do what the rest of us have done, and fab your own.
