finally found a paint on ute liner, thats good, a guy showed me what his turned out to be, looks pretty damn good

in the pic above u can see an example of it on the box.
Very grippy, my dirtbike aint guna slip around anymore.

My brother is a painter so ill wait for him to have a day off to help me.

gotta put another 2 coats on 2day, let it dry overnite then scuff it up JUST a tiny bit, then put the liner in 2mrw morning!





the paint mite not be that good cos i ma little hung over, and the fumes make me hungry, lol?

there was never any rust, a tiny bit of surface rust formed after brisbane had all dat rain cos i sanded it.

I sanded it off again, and rustkilled it


by the way its drying now, ill take some photos tommorow

Yes I just did this with my Pajero - removed all the lower grey plastic trim bogged up the 100 odd holes in the body work and painted it with that stuff.
Came up not too bad.
The Yanks get that stuff in spray packs and a heap of US Mitsi guys have done the same thing. The spray pack stuff has a finer grit and a more uniform finish but try as I might I couldn't find any product like that here.
There was only the Herculiner or Hardliner roll on kits
that I could find..
I got mine from Autobarn for $90 (Hardliner) but they get it from some ute place.
The Hardliner is South African did you watch the instructional DVD with the bare titted black chick painting it on a ute ??
I pissed myself watching that and just imagined scraping that crud of her boobs at the end of the day :lol:

Would love to know how this turns out, as i want something similar for my floor pan in my lux.
Does this stuff dry super hard, and will the sun make it soft?

Synergy, post pics of the finished job willya :cool: also where did you get it and how much did it cost.... Is it water proof? and has anyone ever done the back of a troopy with this stuff.

Sell a spray on one at work, just use with a air gun, done in bout 10min :) and cheaper and easyer than the older paint on stuff, forget wot its called thow. :)
