I am looking at buying a navara 3.0lt turbo deisel. canopy, snorkel, 4*new road tyres with mags, ralle4000 spotties,150000klms they are wanting $24500... Fair?
was also wondering about
1) fuel usage
2)offroad capabilities (fairly standard)
3) highway driving/towing
is there anything else that i should know about

02 navara q's
the problems were only in the patrols not the navara 3.0L they run different turbo's and sumps compared to patrol, and the added weight of the patrol contributed to the engine failure, D22 navara are a great truck plenty of power they are quite economical you can get from 9 - 11L per 100k and even better on long trips, the tow capacity is 2.5 tonne if you have the heavy duty nissan towbar, you have to be carefull witch towbar you have because nissan came out with a light towbar rated at 1.5 tonne and heavy duty one, offroad they will keep up with any other IFS truck and with a 50mm body lift, tortion bar crank and some precision bashing you will fit 33" tyres easily, they have a great LSD in the rear witch will help with offroad ability.

edit: i just check NZ site, they now list it as 2800kg or 3000kg depending on model (which is werid, looks like they have derated the single cabs. not a big deal as 2500kg is the standard braked trailer).
o and i forgot, check the REAR SPRINGS, they sag like crazy.
to be honest i'm not sure when they first came out with the ZD30. at least for the last 3-4 years.
