Geez David......don't get pissed off......it's just people and their opinions !

Just like you said in the other thread !!

OPINIONS only. I think that some of them are really good........but sometimes people take offence to all the crap talked about on this forum.

Some days I get annoyed with silly questions, when people don't introduce themselves and what they wanna do with their 4WD......ya gotta have some idea before you ask the question about how far you wanna be able to drive it !!

As Kent and myself have done, SAS.....to make our Feroza / Rocky a formidable beast that will keep up with the Toyotas and Nissans and Suzukis !! It all depends on one thing......

How much Money you wanna spend !! Anything is possible !!

I'm not pissed Besty! :D I was actually going to post a shocky pic as a joke. :D

There are subjects on each post, so if people aren't interested they don't have to read them- it's as simple as that really.

Everyone has different ideas on what they want to do to their vehicles, and that's a good thing. I just don't think it's necessary to label some discussions as crap or whatever else. eg: I'm not interested in jacking the crap out of my suspension- I've got no use for that here in SA- but I'm still interested in how to go about it and taking the information on board.

PS : Sorry if I offend anyone with my joking around, ribbing etc (feel free to pick on my hairdresser's 4WD- no offence intended Marco!)...... Oh yeah and my opinions on products, or whatever else I may offend anyone with..... perhaps just my being here offends some people! :D

The silly questions, and no intro is one of those things with a BBS like this. Very few people bother to search forums when they first join.

I remember some of my first questions.......

Don't worry about asking "dumb" questions, most people on here don't mind!

I hope this forum doesn't go the way of some other car forums I've been on and the Newbies get pounded with "Read the FAQ.... Do a search!!!"

Andy has modded his suspension- you could try his site for more info, but the "Mods" button doesn't appear to be working? (-Andy??)

From the info I've read in the past- over the years more leaves were removed by Daihatsu in an attempt to improve the ride. I notice Andy's Feroza also has a different lower shock mount to mine.

David,

I apologize for getting you a bit emotional. Being my selfish self I didn't stop to think about the other registered users and their vehicles. If their rides are the low rider with the low profile tyres and neon under the rocker panels, the family car, the occsional wheeler etc they are all Daihatsu's and I apologize to all whom I offended. I have perhaps caused the happy Daihatsu family to become disfunctional with my registration. Of course I don't have to read the posts that I am not interested in. I may have been mislead by the term Outer Limits 4X4.

Sincerely,
DickHead

I've got a better bargain- full set of the electronic adjustable shocks (complete with adjuster motors! ) and they've only done 160000km..... So they're like new! ;)

Anyone want to start bidding? I can post pics too for all those people with shock fetishes. :D

Pics of Rancho 9000X,

Sorry I meant to say Ironman Ubolts.

Wheels are standard F300 and tyres are 195 Bridgstone HT.

Remember, take one take the lot. The shocks have less than 5000klm on them and SFA offroad work.
