80 series 4.5 petrol

Post by lewy »

Just wrote off my diesel 80 series. Need new one. Never really been keen on petrol 4wd's but would like to here how people get on with them. Also wondering how the petrol 80's go on LPG and what the steep descent low speed control is like. I know its exceptional in the diesel.

I love mine. I had it converted to LPG a few months ago and although it chews through the gas, it's bloody cheap compared to both petrol and diesel. The auto is quite good for going down hills. It's pretty good lock in low on the auto. I've been down some pretty steep hills in mine and haven't had two many problems.
