just after som pics and info on converting a hilux to gq diffs also lexus v8 conversion advice would be appreciated and will the surf auto bolt to the 1uzfe?

depends whether you want to go coils, i have gq diffs still leaf sprung
gq wagon now a gq ute, straight gas tb42 with a thing on the side that makes it go fast

Well it is very slow progress but it is happening GQ complete front end going in. The rear is a 3 link.

yeah the rear is relatively easy,for the rear, removed all spring perches brackets etc and made new perches in the correct position to suit the lux took a bit of time but came up very well, used the gq tailshaft also, so got rid of two piece shaft.. the front is a drama, as the drag link fouls on leaf pack, need to make customised arm so that the drag link runs above leaf pack. weld on torque rod bracket, and your set.. perch mounts on front are bit tricky as the one on the drivers side is half way up the pumpkin because of the diff width so much greater..

the surf auto will bolt up
best bet is to use the rear half to the surf auto on the front half od the 1uz one

have a search on lextreme.com lots of info on it
