I've searched and couldn't find.
Couldn't get any links in the bible to work.
I need to replace the brushes in my standard Alternator ('89 TD42), and want to replace the bearings at the same time. I've got the brush parts Nos: http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/viewtopic.php?t=76676
Does anyone know the bearing part numbers?
To prempt the obvious replies, whilst I would like to upgrade to a bigger unit, I simply don't have the coin at the moment, so bearings and brushes only for now.
Cheers,
Tone.

if its a hitachi alternator the nissan part number is 23120 97E00 - List price is $28
thats for the larger front bearing the smaller bearing is no longer made but im sure if you took it to an auto store you could get it matched up!
The front bearing is a 6203 bearing and the rear is a 6202V.
The rear has like a retaining clip around it (looks like a piston ring), but I'm told you could use a standard 6202 if stuck. Both bearings around $5 each.
