L/Criuiser 45 series hub hot

Post by speed=t/d »

I have a noise (grinding/scraping) from the r/hand front wheel. The hub is warm to touch when the L/h side is cold after a short run. I have no experience in hubs etc, never had on off. I'm guessing wheel bearing? Any advice appreciated. (P.S. this isn't a road rego'd vehcile, on farm work truck only). Thanks, C.J. Also any links to D.I.Y. as its my only option.

could be something rubbing on the brake drum causing the heat aswell. if you jack the car up and try and wobble the wheeling by grabbing it at 12 oclock if the wheel bearing is stuffed then it will wobble alot. if not they should be fine. just pull your drum off to check for something amiss or wear marks anywhere :)
