has anyone put a ka laser alternator into there zook did it require mods which model did u use 1.3 or 1.5 any thorts would be good thanks

never heard of it in one mate but thats not surprising.my mate did get a EB falcon alt put in his zook though,plenty or juice.
sierra truggy,37 sticky treps,propane,6.5s and disconnect,lux diffs with spools,16" fox shox,hydro steer.

Municeto on the forum put a laser alternator in his... the thing is i don't know if it was a E series engine or a b series, i do vaguely recal it being 65amp and described as a chubby looking cousin of the sierra alternator

I just put an EA in the zook, just had to modify the origional brackets and it fit ok.

after alot of messing about with an EF alternator i went to a late model swift alt. they are 60amp. just have to swap the pulley. Ford EF alt is 110amp but are to heavy for a V belt as it kept snapping them
1999 SQ625 Manual Grand Vitara. Lifted, Twin Locked, 31' Extremes, dual Batteries, Winch.
Lots of custom gear as I cant afford the proper stuff.
