vent selector switch

hey guys,

The air vent selector switch seems to have broken in my fez, Any ideas on how to go about fixing it?
Basically the switch wont move and is stuck on a setting. Wouldnt normally worry me but its stuck on the windscreen

You have to rip the dash out and have a looksie.. The lever will have departed from the switch most probably.

Hey at least you can demist the windscreen, I'd rather it on that setting than anything :D

does it move at all? mine got stuck but i could jiggle it abit. Part of a vent had fallen down and jammed in the fan assembly.

Off memory. The cable goes from the switch down to the left hand side of the fan unit/airdirector. It attaches to a white plastic lever/wheel looking thing that can easily be seen from the footwell on the passenger side if you get down low and look at the side of the unit. See if that bits ok and moves freely. You may be atleast able to change the air direction down their.

JAT it may be just a jammed lever or cable etc.
If you find it's broken and want to remove the dash for repair then I have a new unused heater control panel complete with operating cables.
I'm in the UK but if you pay the postage it's yours buckshee.
Let me know if you need a shipping price.
