been looking at:
http://cibie.valeoservice.com/html/uk/n ... herche.php
to try and find something.

I got cibie oscars (dunno the exact model type) as my high and lo beam headlights. They use a H4 bulb, however they cant utilise a H4 HID bubl coz there is not enough space, and the rear housing does not fully close over the rear of the bulb. Which SUX.

Also had Cibie Super Oscar Slims (also another model number i do not know of). They be about 75mm from front to rear. They used a proper H2 bulb. A bi-pin with wings. HID bulbs dont come out in that style ufortunately.

Have also seen other cibie super oscars which are by far larger than those of mine. I'd say that the H4 HID would fit ok.

so what your saying is Supers would work, and Oscars wont work due to length of bulb?? correct?

If you look at the specs the light output from Oscars is almost the same as super oscars however driving behind them is different. the super oscars give a much greater flood of light and are easier to drive with. Super Oscars use h1 bulbs, dont know what oscars use so best check that out. I have converted a set of super oscar lights to HID and it is well worth the money and effort. Mine are both spread beams as that suits the type of driving I do the most of.

These lot that I have coming... unfortunately it appears a big no. Oscars use H1, H2, H4 and H7.
However, IF this lot arrives and IF I manage to get rid of them all, and IF I order the next lot of kits, H1's will be on the list. (A lot of IF's)

Already have been asked to get a set of H1, H7, and two H4 hi/lo. (All 50 watt). I have no idea yet when I'll be ordering these. I'm still waiting for the first lot of H3's to arrive.
