Nominations

Post by cityview »

Keep the nominations coming peoples , I would like between 15 and 30 vehicles for this one. Remember class A is for std road cars maybe with slight mods , class B is for mildly (not wildly) modded road cars and class c is for the rest. There are ways built into the points system to even things up , especially in class B and class C (ie so locked vehicles and buggys dont get an advantage) We have secured full sponsorship with our major sponsor 4wd TV providing Tv coverage and Prizes supplied by Complete 4x4 Center (1st place) Repco/Maxitrac (2nd place) and Mitre 10 (3rd place) plus trophees and Prize Money. (If we get 30 vehicles prize money will be 1st-$600 2nd-$300 and 3rd-$150min)

Please call 0424568886 for nominations or if you have any questions.

I will most likely be coming out to the park on the 21st for a play, is it ok to sort it out with you then.

CITYVIEW 4x4 TRIALS. (NOVEMBER 11th & 12th) [corrected]

Post by cityview »

Please mark the date in your diary guys and girls , SPECTATORS are very welcome and std park fees apply (NO MARKUP for the event weekend) There is plenty of parking and a new camping area for compeditors with trailer , truck and 2wd access. If you want to come and watch in the family car , its only a few hundred meters from the carpark to the events area (an easy walk over the hill or if you arrange it with me I can transport you and your picnic gear up there and back , bring a hand held UHF.) We hope to have catering at future events but for this one bring everything you will need (including something for shade) and also Beaudesert has everything and is only 10-15 mins away. Please remember to book on 0424568886 as limitations apply. (you can ring and book in on the day for spectating.)

Cheers

Peter

Bullsh*t Richard!!!

You were bragging to the apprentices at work about how you will tear the Mog in two!

And what about telling Micka that your Hilux could drag the MogRover around the All Terrain course?

Stop blabbing and step up to the plate, fat boy!

Does the missus give you and dave a makeover when you get back from the gym.If you spent more time looking at my car instead of looking at your own reflection in the window you might see its potential, its about time rock hammer had a man onboard there team.

Will a 2wd vehicle be able to get into this park? Is the entry fee the same for this as obviously it wont be driving any tracks?

road tyres

Post by cityview »

Hey Ray185.

There is 2wd access to the Compeditors camping area for cars , trucks and trailers , however as the park is a 4wd park mainly with camping areas provided and not a camping weekend retreat with 4wd tracks there is no 2wd access to the park. Standard park fees apply for the weekend however we are not raising them as other parks do for the event. If you are coming with a group then I can discount your entry if the car is parked at the camping area mentioned while you are spectating , however you will need to hitch a ride with your mates in their 4wd to get to the event area as its a fair walk , not undoable but a couple of ks and up over the ridge.

I hope I have answered your quiery , if not please give me a call.

Regards

So, there are different runs/sets of stages for each class?

and each class repeats a set of 6 stages (the run) 5 times over?

how many places left in road class? and by when does spectating need to be booked by / how far in advance?

Sorry if its been said already... Just checking. ;)

CITYVIEW 4x4 TRIALS. (NOVEMBER 11th & 12th) [corrected]

Post by cityview »

The Park is getting greener day by day. The park is mostly sand so the water gets away quickly , but we have some red clay , rock and black soil which gets very slippery. It drys under the sun after a few hours.

The track has been reduced to 5 stages and 5 runs total 5000 points. Running out of time to be ready and no one stood up to help other than our sponsors and park staff. Not a prob though just linked two stages together so we need less officials. I could do with one back up Recovery Vehicle and two pairs of Official Point scorers if anyone wants to put up their hand. Please.

We only have 3 places left , only 1 if you include the two class C cars running demonstration rather than competeing. I will take reserves.

Hope I have covered all the questions.

Regards
