buying a GQ - what to look for

OK have decided against the GU as I think i would have more fun in the GQ not having to worry about the odd scratch and dent here and there.

How many different motors did these things come out with and which ones should I stay clear of? Will be looking at mid to late 90's models.

if you can be bothered trawling through the search there is much much much info through this section on what to look for specifically.

4.2petrol and 4.2 diesel are your other options, there's others but you wont be happy with the power...

www.gqpatrol.com has a list of common faults to look for in them.
Mine had most of them :(
