not likely - it wouldn't comply with Australian Standards, as it protudes forward and is not shaped the same of teh vehicle fornt... or something along those lines

also has to do with where a pedestrian would end up if you hit them, under the vehicle and dead.

(this is suppose'd to be better than thrown over the bonnet and through the windscreen?)
