was a good event. spectating was awesome, great stages. that ss 11 was awesome untill people started taking the penaltys and avoiding that massive rut.. :D

highlight was probably the blue rangie on the track. was like a portable smoke machine or the zook. do those guys ever back off???

hill to the top was a killer :D:D

Damage was the order of the day. I don't reakon anyone
came out unscathed. The comp scene is alive and well.
Just keep the "red tape goons" off the organizers backs.

Well done to Sandy and On Track, great comp..............

You gotta love Simons enthusiasm. He copped gob
after gobfull of crap from the raging machines attacking
the mud hole. The cammo hat keeping the mire of
that bald head. He crops up in most of my pics, either
ducking for cover or standing his ground. Good on ya bloke.

But Who Drives what. I only know the cars and not the names.

And I also loved seeing that Zook,

Have to love a turbo 3.8 V6 in a sierra.

Simmo..

"buggy thing" is actually a fj45 extra cab ute landcruiser. Blue & orange (for those who know the cars).

Some pics of team 13, Peter Butcher / David Hill.
Awesome event, loved every moment of it! A very well organised event by Sandy, Alison, Paulo and all of the On Track 4x4 club.
And a great effort from all the clubs helping out with the marshalling.
Definately the most professional and fair marshalling I've seen for the last 3-4 years.
Thanks to Leeham from Vic Krawlers for the awesome photo's.

And in my opinion, mud baths are NOT beneficial to the skin!

What a fantastic weekend! We had a ball. Very happy with a top 20 placing. Well done to all the competitors. To Sandy and Alison, thankyou very much for a well organised and fun event. To the 4WD clubs and everyone who put in so much effort on the weekend, you guys rock!
What else can I say! Sunday was great, a lot of fun. The Bundy came out good, no panel damage, just the bullbar, a couple of little dints caused by 3 trees jumping out in front of us!!!

Thankyou again to everyone involved.

Great event, unfortunate that there was so little winching to be done on the friday and saturday, but what can you do, the weather does what it want, the organisers did their best!

1 issue i did have with the marshalling, which overall i thought was fantastic, was that 1 stage on sunday was allowing people to touch live cable on the pretense that it was an "entry level event" and that everybody is learning, so they did not penalise them.... really not sure about that. Spoke to a few people about it, and decided that it wasn't just me that had an issue with it.

As always after a comp, if you have pics or video of car 22, the Penrite FJ40, then could you shoot me a PM if you are will to let me have a copy of any of it?

thanks

marin

They didn't allow us as we got penalised for doing it.

Great comp. Car not so straight anymore.
Was pretty average on friday night and Saturday so let navi drive Saturday night stage and we won. Sunday was alot better with a thrid on stage 10 and I think forth on stage 12.
Was in 23 place after saturday and finished in 14 place overall and very happy with that.

So I bolted to see what was going on. That raging Hilux was
tearing the joint up. So fast it was hard to get pics. Good one!!!
