I am currently in the middle of an extra cab / chassis extend conversion to my HJ47 Troopy - still some months away from finished - i'll start a members thread one day and show what's going on.
I don't seem to have the Add An Attachment prompt anywhere for adding pics - is there a different way now?

Not sure if its a tray back , but 'milo' from 4wd monthly has done a simple yet clean mod of a cruiser troopy, and theres a dark blue highly modded cruiser into tray back which is mint as well.
The biggest mod of a crusier i have seen so far is built by PGS Racing.
i'd seen this monster back in the early days when she was still pretty standard, b4 they completely chopped it and where just left with the cab.
The Dobbin Engineering boys have a kickass custom cruiser comp truck with extremely long travel coil overs, and i think OPW Racing have 1 too utilising the same coil overs.

Keep us posted. I'd love to see a thread on this. I'm about to do a similar project with my troopy - basically replace the troopy hardtop with SWB top. Nearly got all the pieces I need.

OzEast fibreglass in Noosa do a 100mm extended ute roof and rear window panel to suit...both in fibreglass. just use normal rear windows etc. as for adjusting the length of the cab to suit the tray, you can pretty much put it wherever you want then make up a section of plate or similar that bolts in to fill the space below the rear window section.
they're prices have seemed pretty reasonable to me and its fibreglass...no more cancer :D
only downside is that its only 100mm, but hey for them's that be 6' plus, we need all the help we can get!!!

one of the better dually conversions i've seen was done by a bloke in melbourne...he used an upper tailgate instead of a solid rear piece which he could use as access to the tray from inside the cab, matched with 2 extra rear doors...looked trick as!!!
