Well this went quiet. Round 2 is this weekend 5th & 6th August and with all the rain the past few weeks looks like it could be interesting.
For anyone contemplating entering the final round on 21st & 22nd October:
For all those wishing to enter Round 3 the close off date is Sunday 17th September. Please complete an entry form and email it to the Secretary before this date. Payment for Round 3 is either due in full by the 17th September or you can pay 50% by the 17th and the balance paid no later than scrutineering 23rd & 24th September. Payments can be made by Money Order, Cheque or Direct Deposit. There is also no requirement for competitors entering Round 3 to be a member of a 4WD club.
I'm confused the last post was posted 23/8 talking bout 5/8 wots the go?
is it on this weekend 26/8?
And just read the rules saying class d is open to buggies but then it says all have to be licensed? how does that work?
So do you have to winch or is there some sort of crawling type competition?
lots of numbers and a real hard go ha lol lol lol by the sounds of the course your going to need them should put the mighty mavs tyres on the blue meany bigger meats might help out with the big rocks and tyres
Yea things did not come together. The 4-link did not get finished and I got sent the wrong coil-overs from the US.
So I had to pull out.
A bit disapointed but now I have more time so get it right and learn how it handles. If I was competing then the fist dirve would be driving it on the trailer Also I would not have been totally finished, now I can get it completely finished
bumber man but why by your coil overs from the states you could have bought them from right here in WA from a offroad race buggy shop might have been a little more dollars but at least its easy to get the correct parts and change coils to suit your car.Are you going with coil overs front and rear or just rears with IFS springs up front.
We had a ball thanks to all organisers, marshalls and competitors.
I quite like being the guy in the IFS with sweet F all travel keeping up with "The Big Boys".
Jeff we had almost caught you by the end of day 2!!! Well done mate Im happy as with the silver.
Also cant believe I picked up "Best presented 4wd" especially with Cass's beast there.
