Thats a shock about the gu springs. I have them in the rear of my 88 nf. I could have sworn that the ng was the same. I made my body lift out of nylon and some high tensile bolts. They are 2" and cost $80 all up. [/img]
Jabber gone. Now have 98 nissan terrano and a 94 4.2ldiesel rv troopy on 33s slowly getting the fancy bits. How the hell do I change my user name?
got some teasers for you body lift went in just fine 1.5 hours really quick just need to modifi gear lever and frount and rear bar. even went out wheling last nite handeld verry well

looks good mate. Id love a body lift but i dont think there is much point as i doubt ill be going up from 31s. It would make the 31s look better in the guards though...
The only think that is putting me off is the fact you have to modify the gear lever and brackets for front and rear bars.

mate eaisy as to do just cut out for gear lever and use plate steel to move frount and rear bars. just a bit bussy a bit with work to do my own need more cash for more mods. 33 look meaner in the gards than 31s mine at the moment are 31s. next mods are cut gards for bigger tyers ( to fit 35s on whil 4x4ing), fender gards 33- 12.5 tyres agresive for the moment, home made snorcle maby twin snorcle? disconeting swaybar and diff breaters.
ow and need to get the handbreak lenthend enyone no how to do this?

did you have to lengthen the fuel filler hose, and what did you do bout the brake lines on the rails(did you just undo them and left them only attached to the body?)

yea rear sway bar gone will look at making some disconets next weekend flying to macay this week. fule filler hose dosent need to be lengthend just losend up theres enouf there and therse a bracket that holds it to the shazzy just needs to be lengthend. as for the break lins i just got 2inch extended break hose and for the steel line therse enouf there to do the job and just rember i have 2inch raisd coils at the rear and handbreak defantly needs to be legnthend as i havent go full articulation because the handbreak is pulling on . would love to se more pajeros of the same shape doing this mod.

Remember when just looking at a pic, a vehicle with a 2 inch body lift will LOOK like it has more travel due to the larger gap between wheel & arch.

awesome, someone else thinks the same as me and can understand that a 2" bodylift also adds 2" to the length from the hub to the guard. I dont have any bodylift but if i did a 2" bodylift i rekon id definitely have the 33"s below the sill, and thats stock shocks/lines/handbrake too. Looking at longer shocks, the materials there if i ever wanna do bodylift, but at the moment theres no need.NJV6 wrote:Poor mans traction control....sjjenkin wrote:handbreak defantly needs to be legnthend as i havent go full articulation because the handbreak is pulling on :

yeah I realise that my my paj has nowhere near that amount of compression as seems to be the case in the pic showing the rear guard FULL of wheel, particularly given the 2inch body lift! Im guessing its my swaybar (which will have to be removed )NJV6 wrote:
