GQ front diff into a Rangie

GQ front diff into a Rangie
I was talking to a Mechanic mate of mine the other day and he was say that a GQ front diff with nissan control arms is almost a bolt up. Supposedly it is within about 10mm of going straight in.
Has anyone done this mod and how much work was invloved?

Thats another question, a lot more mods required there. Maybe 80 series?

Still in the planning stages but I think it may be cheeper than going with Jac Mac's or Maxi's and more choice of ratio's etc.

Yup - doin' the same thing x2 cars - doing fronts and rears on them.
I know the rears are line up spring bases, chop and re weld and the lower mounts need to have that done as well. Then make a perch to mate the A frame to the diff or get a 3 link made to fit.
Fronts definitely don't look to much harder either. pretty similar in layout.
If anyone gets the stats together I'd be appreciative - espescially before I start cutting!!

I think it's definatly a goer(Cant spell at this time of nite )
BJ and someone else has some diffs and I think I will avail myself of a set.
My rangie has a 350Chev so I don't even mind if they come with 4.1's LOL
Plans will be to get the 38's to fit similar to this
