Hilux blown gearbox

Post by pornmo »

I have a '99 3L diesel hilux, just blown the gearbox, it was a G52. Just wondering if there is a stronger alternative that I could replace it with. Been told that a dyna box may be a good choice but not sure if there are many alterations involved in using one of these.

No need Dyna, find a R150 or R151F.

Do you know if the gearing is much different to the g52, also what models would these be from?

R151 is stronger than an R150.
