NA Pajero on dieselgas? Please help me

Post by Sammyboy »

Hi there, I own a 1983 SWB Pajero TD and I have recently been considering having dieselgas fitted to it to help reduce my running costs (especially with the government rebate of $2000). I have generally received good feedback about this diesel/LPG system, but recently people have been telling me that it is going to kill my engine quicker and it will create more costs in the long term for me. Does anybody here have any thoughts on this issue? Does anybody have Dieselgas? Would I be better to spend say $1000+ on a good tune-up, optimum exhaust system, and other minor work that needs doing? Please help me with your thoughts.

Thanks in advance,
Sam

is it a 2.3 or a 2.5 ? i have heard both stories as well ask if it comes with a warrenty against engine damage.

but u will probly neeed a good tune up as well to get best results,

if it's a 2.3 might not be worth doing look for a newer 2.5 or 2.8

my engine is a 2.5 litre, in pretty good condition. I got a good second hand imported engine fitted in july last year.
