thinking of getting rid of the ol 4runner for something to run around town in a little easier, to and from uni etc....but still able to go out for some fun on weekends, this looks like a nice starter, and its not too far from my home of gold coast, has anyone seen this thing around, and know what sorta condition its in, how capable it is etc. the last zook i owned had the trademark driver side sagging, will that still happen with flat springs??

any info appreciated, cheers :D

Panels/body looks very clean/straight.
but springs look a big shot (spoa), and i'd be checkin out the high-steer.

as long as it all checks out, and you have something up your sleeve for a RWC, it looks like a good buy. Especially with rockhoppers etc.

Personally, I'd make sure I checked out other suzukis in same year range etc, to make sure its in the right price range.

I'd be checkin out the legalities of spring over, as far as i know
it's 100% illegal.

it most definetly is (in qld)

thats why its being sold unregistered, and he would need something up his sleeve to get it on the road again ;)

yeah i may have a way to get it on the road, in one of the pics the flat springs look a little sagged.. is that normal for a flat spring? im changing from a 4runner to this zook...so im pretty clueless about them...
what should i check on the high steer? can you give me a exact list of stuff i should be looking for by any chance? as well as any typical zook problems that i should be on the lookout for?

cheers guys :)

Check to see who made the High steer kit from looks of things its either a early made Snake Racing one...? Im not sure but if it was snake racing it should have their logo printed in the middle, as in engraved.

Ask if there is a engineers report for it.

Who did the welding for the spring over and if there is any certificate or recs for it.

Check for rust in the inner guards in the engine bay and basically just everywhere most Suzukis just seem to have rust that Ive seen.
..wrench, wheel, wreck repeat..

check out the action @ http://www.darwin4x4.net
