Recently bought 1991 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Limited 3Ltr Petrol in good shape - want to keep it that way, so wonder if any forum posters can recommend a decent Hilux specialist mechanic who's easy to talk to, enthusiastic and take good trusted care of my Lux?
I'm in Brisbane QLD (Southside).
Any recommendations would be great.
Cheers,
Pete

Hilux Mechanic?
Lucky they don't snap off!
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Kingy I was gonna post it here first, but thought no no no as I'm a newbie and didn't wanna get banned first go! So since this now this is my second go , I won't hold back, and I think the post belongs where I first put it - since its dialog, not tech instruction.
For what it's worth, my other mechanic reconditioned my power-steer pump and then zip- tied the hoses over the reservior cap so you couldn't really open the cap, and in the meantime continued to break spark lead retainer clips (nearly every one of them) and tried to tell me the "plastic clips degrade over time"...Suppose they do, but not coincidently every time the car visited his workshop and if I can take 'em on and off without breaking them, anyone can !...I know its trival but due diligence starts with the small -avoidable - things I reckon.
