Not for me to say but I think it's his DD as well, would be pretty harsh drivin round with welded diff all the time, welded diffs are great, we've destroyed many a rally car and the welded diff has held up, but a mini spool will give desired result, and still keep a capable DD.
Try not to let your mind wander...It is too
small and fragile to be out by itself.
Toyo Truck (if you're still around), did you find out if the Cressida R&P fit on a Hilux carrier? I'm interested because that would make it possible to have a 3.909:1 diff, which is significant (as a zook guy) as it matches a stock zook ratio.
