Post by whoneedsbitumen »

Not sure if this is in the right section or not but i was given a GME TX822 today ( was going to be thrown out so i thought what the hell and it doesnt look that old) is this unit UHF or the old CB?
Sorry i don't know much about these type of things apart from push the button and talk ;)
Will hook it up to power and an ariel tomorrow see if it works
anyone use the old CB anymore or is it all UHF now?

Thanks

Google is your friend.

It's a 27MHz AM CB, so you'll need an appropriate antenna and cable.

These days, most people are on UHF, so 27MHz has much less rubbish on it.
