Hey guys

just wondering with this bar will i be able to mount a winch down the track ?

i know its not a winch bar but i had herd about high mout winches.
i take it they are mounted to custom plates/framing ?

i also think they had a few pros compared to a low mount as in being able to use longer cable ? and higher speeds ?

Cheers guys

dont worry to much about a winch, just get a hand one, youll hardly ever use it, and zukes are light.

Hookers are like bowling balls, You pick them up, put your fingers in them, then throw them in the gutter and they come back for more.

yeah the winch on mine usually gets used to recover patrols mainly... just ask rochrd....

there seems to be a bit of a common feeling about winches on zooks...mainly getting used to recover OTHER cars.

i've only used it once to drag myself through a bog hole on bullock Link trk in labertouche

it seems to me every time i take my stock zook out ( i know this will change soon) i get it sittin on its diffs in some hole and need to call my dads mates to come pull me out. last sat they whernt avilable .

so i sat on there waitin by myself just spent my last 40 cents on my mobile for no one to come save me when a awesoem guy in a suite walks through the trees and asks me if i need a hand. i thuaght he was jokin . but he ended up havin a jeep on 33s with a winch and pulled me out no probs god knows id still be sittin on my bonnet if he didnt stop lol.

so i dunno maybey i need some more mates with 4x4s other than comodores. or just to start drivin a little more. becuase atm i would of used a wince atleast 1/2 the time i was out. lol Cheers guys

for example lol

get some muddies on it a set of 29inch retreads will set you back no more then $450 and they will fit easy. the possibility of getting stuck in stuff like will be all but gone. then find some mates to go wheelin with so you dont have to annoy people when you get stuck. alternatly a hand winch is $350 and will get you out of everything. (id go the tyres.)

as for the hand winch i have one a cheaper one than that . i actualy got out of that hole in the pic with it but it wasnt a 1 man job and took about 10 winches.( as u can see the strap in the pic)
as for the friends well spose im just not as luck as the rest of u in that department, my friends think a good time out is smoking a pot or headin down to crispy cream lol.

Yeah 84zooksta that bog hole is cool! coming from the eastern end i tried to edge through on the right hand side and the only thing that stopped me from tipping it was the viscosity of the mud up against the passenger panels  I managed to find a nice tree on the other side and a winch bitch to do the dirty work and winched through fine...THen i winched a SWB patrol through as well although i had to anchor the car...big heavy things they are!

But just last week I used my little 2 tonne 30 dollar hand winch from supercrap or autobahn to right a lifted jimny that had tipped over on its side...for thirty bucks its cheap insurance. Although you need an extension as it only has about 2 metres of cable on the spool.
