Seccond Battery

Post by Robocop »

I have installed a seccond battery in to my Defender, however I can't seem to find an after market kit for a battery tiedown. I have thought of welding some angle to the original tiedown for the seccond battery.

Has anyone overcome this lately?

Cheers Rob

Mine just uses the stock tie down. But yea, any generic battery hold downs should work.

Can any of the guys here five me a sketch of how to connect 2 batteries combined with a "battery isolator" to receive:

a. 12V from both batteries (parallel connection).
b. 24V from both batteries (inline connection).

I wish to use both systems at the same time.

Thanks, Gali.
