Morning All,
I have very basic Mechanical Knowledge so please bear with me.
Recently when going over bumps on the road I have been getting a load rattle from the hub area in the rear of my GU and when I press the brakes a clicking sound.
I removed my back wheel today and I grabed the brake disc and there is a fair bit of movement in it. I presume now that the clicking must have been the brake pads pushing this disc back into alignment.
What causes this amount of Play?
Is it something I can fix myself by taking the disk out and making repairs?
Before I do this can anyone give me some advice or is it easier to take it to a mechanic
Thanks in Advance
Paul

GU Rear Brake Rattle
are they factory rims?
If not the rim may be seating itself on the end of the axle rather than clamping the disc rotor. This will also cause a rattle.
