2nd a/c pump 4 air....
i know that Area54 had a thread going bout this but this is wot i have come up with can any1 c any problems ??
the ac pump closest 2 the block will b solid mounted and use the originall belt and adjuster and run the air cond
and the pump on the outside will b mounted by the tab u can c on the bracket between the 2 pumps and use a small belt that runs round just the 2 pumps and be adjusted by a threaded rod that will make the pump tilt outwards 2 take up the tension....if that makes sense 2 u guys..
the top pump will sit closer 2 the other pump i just havent cut out that part yet

v belts are either 11 or 13 mm wide, and are measured in mm. run a piece of rope in the groove, and work out the length, eg 560mm. if you dont care how wide the belt is, the part no is 11a560 or 13a560. if the shop cant supply, they go up or down in 5mm increments. btw, the 13mm belt will need to be longer than the 11mm. get a few sizes up and down of your measurement, to get exactly the right one.

Looks good Ben! Damn, that air pump is huge! How much to get the duoble pulley put on the A/C pump? (picture res doesn't show detail). That is the best position (probably the only position), especially when you move the battery. Just make the brackets beefy, the rattles from the motor (diesel) and the weight of the pump give a lot of leverage...
Built, not bought.
Mate has just done something very similar to this with the same belt configuration. He had no prob finding the belt, I think he just went and asked for one the right size. I also think his two compressors are closer together than what you have pictured so the belts must come pretty small.
Plummed it up today with an old 11kg Fire extinguisher and an ARB pressure switch. She runs a treat, ran a test and pumped up a 31" tyre from 15psi to 40psi in 60secs with the motor running 2000rpm. Rattle gun ran no worries.
