If you wanted to upgrade you lightforce to HID, check these kits out. These kits have been engineered to accept the H3 HID bulbs. Easy install, cheap and shyt load of light!

Not just talking about HID conversion kits, look and see! These are adaptor kits to change the bulb type in the lightforce lights! Check out the link then maybe comment on what you see. Cheers

I have looked and there not bad looking holders and good instructions.

Something to think about:
It took four of me 35w 6000k Blitz's to outdo two 45w 5000k XGT's.

question is what do you think of the actual kit, regardless of what colour temp bulbs or wattage you decide to use?

So do these kits only suit the later lights with the cast aluminium bulb holders?

Joe, sensational effort mate.
Great to see guys having a go at designing/developing their own stuff.

Yes, they are for the late model Lightforce. We are about a week away with the previous model. Very similar setup, same pricing structure.

A little side note if you didn't know
I spoke to a bloke from the lightforce stand at the Melb 4x4 show. He said that they will be selling 50w HID lights soon

The adaptor kit allows you to use any H3 HID kit you want. The price of the Lightforce 240 XGT HID retails for about $2300 a pair, purchasing 240 Blitz's and converting them to 35W HID is only going to cost $799 a pair. Benifits of less current draw, brighter more intense light and CHEAP! If you already have 240 Blitz's the conversion is under $300.00

At the moment we haven't had much interest in converting XGT's into HID. The 170 striker and 240 Blitz have been our most popular conversions.

That all sounds great but I can tell you first hand that I have that same model car as joe, he has fitted out his HI/Lo Beam & HI beam with HID & it Kills my car Lights which have 90/130Watt HI/LO & 100Watt HI

Thanks for the read, but it sound like the bloke has a missus who won't let him have HID's so he's pointing out all the negatives. We are not in any way having anything to do with your normal headlamps, could'nt care less actually. The adaptors we are selling are only for the lightforce lights. We have compared the original 240 blitz's to the HID converted set and without a doubt HID is brighter and more intense. As for his "pupils" comment, any good driving light used is going too cause the " oh sh!t I cant see" when turning off on a dark road. Reality is you cant have too much light when your in the scrub.

yeah, and ya shouldn't run Boggers on a Subaru Brumby but its been done and it works.



Can I now jump in and say that I've got XGT's instructions to modify to use HID bulbs for $10.00 each... Postage included.

Done heaps of XGT's now. Have sold heaps of instructions too with nothing other than good feedback from blokes who have done them.

Also got a set sitting on my lounge room floor all set to go.
XGT's with a 45 watt HID kit installed. $1000.00 + postage.
Thats gonna beat Lightforce's new 50 watt HIDs for price when they're released!
