I think for the price it aint worth arguing, you wouldnt be plannin on much serious 4wdin with 50% MTs would yer? If you want them for just road tires, they would be sweet.

I ran these for quite a while and was extremely happy with them. But in saying that the Jeep is a lite little rig so they suited it down to the ground, a heavier rig may not suit them as well.

For the price that is dam good, but again they are 50% worn so they should be a good price. I would recommend the Cooper STT's to anyone, but I'm just biased towards them as I had a set odf31's of these as well.

the price is for 4 with oasis rims
luckily they havent had any puncture repairs
i would use them for some preety serious 4wding
i am running 50% bfg's at the moment and they never lack traction
they are for daily driving use but i dont have a second set of tyres so they would be used for serious off roading too
does anyone know what the depth of the tread is brand new?
coz then i can make up me own mind if they are 50% worn or not?
thanks very much for you help

I dont know if the compound and construction of the Coopers has got any better in the past few years, but I would never buy them again as an all round tyre (or at all!!). They are dangerous on wet roads (BF's are the other end of the scale), and I used to get more punctures than with the BF's. You get what you pay for...

  Imagine him with NEW MTs!

With rims, I dont think you would be complaining about the deal...

I agree with bruce get em and thrash the piss outta them. STT's are funny I always here either very good stuff about em or they are shyt. Never had a set Had a mate with a set on a Jeep and they went fine and got flogged.

If you destroy them you still have $ 200 worth of rims.

i ran the STT's in a 33" on my old GQ wagon, drove i half way around the country on them, and they are a bit iffy on wet roads

IMO they do work pretty well in most conditions, i now run the ST's and they have surprised me a lot

new tread depth is 20.5/32" = 16mm

i've had a great run out of my stt's so far (40 k) havent had a puncture yet good in the bush too, i'd rate them better than a bfg a mate has five bfgs with five major repairs on his 60 series driving the same tracks!!!
