What model are they from? if they are from a gen 2 4runner then they should fit in regards to top and bottom mounting style, might pay to get some measurements from your own rig first to compare (ie. compressed and max droop of your suspension without shocks or a swaybar if u intend to run without).. if its close you can finetune with bumpstops...

4" I reackon will be too big for your surf. (up stroke)
And leafs have differnt ends dont they :?

If you have the part numbe of the shocks I can look up the specs for overall travel ect, but the IFS front end won't take the shocks designed for a 4" lift, too long, You could probably get away with the back end.
