Also on MT/R's.......

Apart from a bit of noise (what do you expect from agressive tyres???) for me they perform well in all situations.

Try to keep at least one wheel on the ground at all times !!!!!! (unless you want to do a jump....... thats different)

the MTR is obviously not a tyre for me then, I'm not looking for an aggressive tyre.

I want a tyre suited to highway as this is 90% of my driving but I don't want a highway tyre as for that 10% of off road I do want the ability to still have a responable level of performance.

IME the MTR performes BETTER than most ATs (and even some HTs) on highway. But it is noisy and you may use more fuel than an AT.

I drive Mickey Thompson ATZ's on my 100 series and couldn't be happier with them. When we purchased it, it was running H/T's and swapped ATZ's onto it asap. There has been very little difference in fuel consumption and noise. They feel really good on the road, and seem to stick like the proverbial to a blanket. We travel with three children under 7 in our car so this is a priority for us too.

We've done some offroading with it and they handled really well also.

mate i like Mickey Thompson Baja radial MTZ'S for an AT tyre they have proven to be great wearing tyres om two friends cruiser i will be getting a set within the next 2 or so weeks for a trip to airlie as the muddies annoy the bejesus out of me
