Injector upgrade for V6 3.0L??

Post by TurboPaj »

Anyone know what injectors are a direct fit replacement for the 6G72? I need some around the 550cc mark.

I think 13B turbo injectors can be made to fit without much trouble.

Thanks Scott, thats what i thought. I ordered some earlier today and was just looking for some verification that i got the right ones :)

And yeah i just did a quick crazy turbo conversion. I have had some fast 4cyl turbo cars before and thought it was time for a change! I was hoping to be happy with the new NH Pajey, but the turbo demons caught me in my sleep and made me turbo it haha.

There was a Jabber in 4WD Monthly last year that was running Commodore injectors. I've been meaning to find out more about it.

Commodore injectors won't have the flow he's after. Even the supercharged commodore injectors are under 400cc.

But it does raise a good point - how much boost are you running to require 550cc?

haha got a few pics of it being built. Should have injectors, fuel pump and new regulator today so its almost complete. Just need to put new clutch in as the last one was slipping like crazy at 4psi! It also ran the injectors at 100% duty cycle at 4psi so you can see why i needed the bigger ones! :)
