just want 2 know if it is hard 2 covert from leaf spring rear 2coil from a late model surf or is it worth it

I have planned to do this also but it is on hold at the moment. A surf rear is the easiest option. You will need to replace your fuel tank with a surf or 4 runner tank also as the Hilux one will be in the way.

Its a relatively easy swap apparently but with all conversions I am sure it has it headaches.
Toy: 98 TJ with some mods and some bling
Tourer and daily: 120 Prado with some mods

hey mate, look at 80 series rear end as it flexes and rides better due to the longer trailing arms top and bottom.
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

If you use the 80 series arms with the surf setup you get the same result and I have been led to believe the surf is easier to do and to get engineered? (In Qld anyway)

both are perfectly legal in queensland. as long as it is factory parts (mounts, arms, etc.) it can be engineered with ease
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown
