33x9.5x15 Mud Tyre Does anyone still make them?

Post by Geoffrey Dick »

After a 33x9.5x15 mud tyre to use as a space-saver in the back of the zook (will take up less space then a 33x12.5). I realise that I can get a simex 32x9.5x15, but did not really want a directional tyre as a spare.

Has anyone got any ideas?

cheers

The 33 x 9.5 BFG muddies were the old style, they don't make them anymore. I think they are 10.5's now....

yep you can get a 33 x 10.50 BFG MT, although they can be a bit of anightmare to get hold of them. For some reason Townsville always seems to have them. When I got mine I had to wait for 2 to come form there and a mate had the same problem too

One of my mates had them on his wrangler. 33x9.5x15 do still exist but I'd assume it's special order only.

I had BFG MT bought last year in 33x10.5x15. No probs with getting them. Not sure on the 9.5 though.

Chops.... in other states they may be... Swampers are marked "Not for highway use" which is kind of a giveaway.

Plus of course the fact that beating yourself over the head with a brick is more fun than driving swampers down the highway anyway :P
